Halloween Party Food

The party last Friday was a success and the food was delicious!  Everyone brought some great food and I thought sharing what we ate might give you an idea for your next get together.  We enjoyed a potluck lunch with veggie trays, crackers with cheese and summer sausage, apples and caramel, cookies, and cupcakes.

Even Batman enjoyed a cupcake!

I made an Oklahoma favorite – Frito Chili Pie using Leslie’s Chili Blend from Wildtree, Frito’s, and cheese.

For kid-pleasing dishes, Vimari made bowtie pasta with Lemon Grapeseed Oil, parmesan cheese, and peas.

Carmelita made Paula Deen’s Snake Bites.   A delicious sandwich in the shape of a snake!

Nancy brought her wonderful Sloppy Chicken Dip and served it with Dorito’s Scoops.  She was kind enough to share this great recipe.

Sloppy Chicken Dip by Nancy Porter

2 cans of golden mushroom soup

2 cans cheese soup

1 packet of taco seasoning

1 jar Salsa

Shredded chicken

Combine in a crockpot until it is heated through.

I hope you are having a very Happy Halloween!
